We tried to discuss a new education model and relationship of teaching and learning which not only contains local special features but also obtains certain universalizes under the limiting condition of the problems of Chinese rural area.Thus,a variety and unity regional environment is originated.Based on this discussion we came up with a concept of ‘community college’ to solve the problems of rural area,which let the architecture play an important part in undertaking social responsibilities.Difficult employment problem among rural students is found through university daily life,which infers that our university education is out of line with social talent demand condition.However,a variety of vocational and technical college educated talents are short of regionalism. Hence,we put forward ‘community college’ which is at the same stage as university and vocational and technical college in the educational system .

The site is located in She Village, Jinzhu Town,Anle County,Fuzhou City,Jiangxi Province,PRC.According to the complex and diverse topography of the site,its main tillage method is terrace fields.As a result of the mountain is made up with bamboo forest, bamboo-made house can be found everywhere,which is a important part of the local architectural culture.Owing to the brain drain,traditional folk songs and dances are desiderated to be inherited and carried on.Based on our analysis,we chose some original important joint points and some new joint points based on the tendency of the development,and used two streamlines which serve the tourists and local residents apart to connect them in series.In addition,the function of the original joint points are replaced,which the whole village’s infrastructure net originates,which let the community college to be the educational joint point of this whole village’s infrastructure system.In order to find the correspondences between tradition and modern.In conclusion, we tried to take root in local architectural environment,cultural environment and natural environment to design a campus architecture which based on the development of the future of rural area.

Here, we tried to explain how we implement our conceptual project in the specific site faced with terrain height difference, terrace and village texture and how our project correlates with the humanistic, natural and architectural environment of the village. Also, we tried to explain how we interpret the evolvement from a river to a village to the terrace fields and to the the disused laterite mine pit.
